Mulberry Home Inspections performs thorough home inspections geared toward identifying costly defects and dangerous safety hazards keeping your family and your investment safe.  Our home inspection service closely follows the interNACHI Standards of Practice which outlines various systems of the home that should be inspected.  It should be noted that this is a minimum standard and Mulberry Home Inspections routinely exceeds this.  Check out some of the various areas and methods included with every inspection below!

Electrical

Every inspection performed by Mulberry Home Inspections includes a thorough evaluation of the electrical system.  This is an important system to inspect correctly because defects can result in expensive repairs and/or serious safety hazards.  Some of the things we look at are:

  • The main panel and any subpanels

  • A representative number of receptacles

  • Any GFCI and AFCI devices

  • Visible Circuit Wiring

  • Circuit Breakers

  • Grounding System

Plumbing

Every inspection performed by Mulberry Home Inspections includes a thorough evaluation of the plumbing system.  Plumbing repairs can be very expensive so it is important that you have someone knowledgeable take a look at it.  Some of the things we look at are:

  • Exposed Piping (Gas and Water)

Structure

The structure is the skeleton of your home and has the potential to be a very costly area to perform repairs.  Every inspection performed by Mulberry Home Inspections includes a thorough evaluation of the visible aspects of the structure.  Some of the things we look at are:

  • Rafters / Trusses

  • Foundation

  • Floor Ceiling Joists

  • Roofline

  • Brickwork / Siding

HVAC

Your HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) system can not only be a costly area, but can make or break your comfort level in your new home.  This is certainly included in all of our inspections.  Some of the things we look at are:

Roof

Like many of the other systems in your home, the roof has the potential to be an expensive fix, particularly in the case of leaks.  Every inspection performed by Mulberry Home Inspections includes a thorough evaluation of the roof and associated parts.  Some of the things we look at are:

Interior
